Unfortunately when the days get longer it seems that even though the girls are put to bed at the same time, they don't actually go to bed until much later. It happens every year. In defense of kids I will say that it doesn't seem quite right to go to bed when the sun is still up.
However, as parents we want our kids to just go to bed, get the rest they need, and enjoy a quiet evening. Why don't they just go to bed?
At least it is always interesting to see where the girls finally fall asleep. On this night I found Hallie......
...under Audrey's crib. What a goof.

Haha. She is hilarious. I love that she falls asleep in the most random places! Between your bed and the wall, under Audrey's crib....she is the blasted funny. I miss you!
Don't feel bad, Haley, I used to fall asleep in random places too. One of my favorites was in the tool closet under the stairs. It was always nice and quiet and really dark. And I hear ya, it doesn't matter if the girls get to bed at 8:30 or 9 if the sun is still up, there isn't a chance they are actually going to sleep, especially Jess.
Love you Hallie. She is so sweet. I love the little thumb in her mouth when she's asleep. What a cutie.
I love sleeping kids! She is so cute. I love when my kids sleep in weird places.
Ok I am able to get on...I am nuts! Your girls are too cute. How sweet is that pic!
Okay Leah, here's my explanation...
The reason I don't usually comment and post is because Josh always gets to it before I can. So I figure that Josh is representing us and thats good enough for me. I must be lazy.
i love it! she can sleep anywhere. but i wonder why she would crawl under the crib. it's so funny!
She did make a nice and comfy bed for herself! The girls have there own rooms and it is wonderful because they go right to sleep. But we will be in a smaller house soon and they will be back to talking all night.
B likes to sleep under beds, too! Cute, Hallie!
Mat says when he was little there was nothing he hated worse than being put to bed while it was still light and he could hear kids playing outside! Summer is hard for that reason! How cute!
Your girls are so adorable, I wish that we lived close by so Macady could get to hang out with them! I love their mischievousness!
