Party Time

I forgot to post the pictures of Claire's Brithday Party at Peter Piper Pizza. She had a great time and it was really nice to have it somewhere else. No clean up! Very nice...I recommend it.Here is the crew. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate.

We went with princess cupcakes which were a big hit.

Cora, Maren, and Jess came down from Denton. The girls had SO much fun. Maren had a LOT of fun sticking her fingers in the icing on all the cupcakes (not all but at least 3 or 4!!). It was hilarious!

This is Claire opening her gift from Benjamin White. Sidenote: Rachel said when she took him shopping he was VERY generous in picking out her gift. A little too generous so she supposedly had to take it down a notch. So funny. Anyway, he got her a polly pocket pack with a horse, van, and lots of accessories. I'd like to know what he had picked out before cause this was one sweet present. You can tell how stoked she was. Thanks Ben!

After the party Zeb and I decided to start a new tradition where the birthday person gets to choose a place to eat out. One guess where Claire wanted to go...

It's Swimming Time!

The ward party was tonight at the Waco Water Park. We haven't been to it yet so we have been excited all week. The party didn't start until 7:30 so it got dark and windy pretty quickly. That didn't stop the girls from having a blast though. They went down this slide over and over...and over. (sorry for the bad picture)

Audrey loved crawling through the little tunnel.

Once it was time to go the girls were very cold. Audrey sat and cuddled with Claire and Claire ate up every second. She LOVES holding Audrey and is constantly sad when Audrey won't have it. She is such a little mother it makes me smile. Often times Claire will wake up, get Audrey out of her crib, turn on cartoons, and get them all breakfast (cereal without milk just in case there is a spill) and lets me and Zeb stay in bed. Man she is sweet.
I Love my girls!!!

I remember another funny thing Audrey did the other day..at my expense.
Lately Zeb and I have been going biking in the mornings. He takes the older two in the bike trailer and I take Audrey on the infant seat attached to my bike. Audrey LOVES it. A few days ago Audrey decided she wanted to see what was in my pants so she proceeds to not only pull my shorts towards her but my underwear too. So there I was with no hands to do anything about it and Audrey is lookin away. The girls, and Zeb and I, were laughing pretty hard. Finally I tucked my shirt into my underwear and that seemed to stop the little rascal!

Goofy, Goofy Girls.

When we had company over the other night the girls came out sporting these pull ups on their heads. They had us rolling we were laughing so hard.
Here are some other funny things the girls have done/said lately:

Hallie: "They said a customer word" Claire corrects her saying, "It's called a cuss word."
When we were going into the bathroom at the church Hallie says to me, "There is the boys men and here is the girls men" I have no idea how she forgot men and women.

Audrey is found crawling around sticking her tongue out and "licking" the air while panting on a regular basis. She is a kitty cat.

I can't remember what Claire did that had me laughing. Oh well. I'll remember later.

Movie for Ethan

We just looked on Abe's blog (Zeb's older brother) and found out they are expecting their second child. We are so excited for them.
The girls loved watching the video of big brother Ethan announcing the baby. The girls wanted to do a video back to say congratulations (and no, it is not to announce anything on our end..why is that always the next question the family asks?). :)
We love you guys!

Zeb interviewed at Gold's Gym today for a summer job. We hear back tomorrow. In Zeb's words, "If I don't get it I'm a loser." We'll keep you posted.

On another note, I realize that there aren't any pictures on our post about Utah with the Fish side of the family. Carol will not let me live that down. Unfortunately I would either forget my camera (as I did in Vegas), have dead batteries, or completely forget to take pictures. While I was in Vegas the three days before we left Zeb was with the girls and guys don't really shoot pictures unless us wives force them to. Although he did take the picture of the girls in their new sunglasses on his own accord. Anyway, sorry Fish Family for being a loser and not having any pictures of you while we were there. I'll make up for it somehow!
Miss you already...

Ward Party In Dallas

While we were in Dallas we went to one of the ward parties. Let me just first say that the ward was small but very kind and welcoming.
They had the party at a families house in the ward. This house was huge. The pool bathroom had a HEATED toilet and a button to flush yourself as well as dry yourself off. Seriously. It was the fishy bathroom (fitting for us) that honestly had little turtles and fish in the tiles in the sink. I can't imagine how many rooms there were in this house but it was amazing. The party was a pool party and this was the slide in their backyard.
Is that cool or what? Claire and Hallie had a blast going down the slide.
This is one of the wings of the house. As you can see they have a flat screen TV as their patio television...OUTSIDE!
This is their formal dining room. Click to enlarge it and see all the candy. That is my kind of food!
The owners were the sweetest people and made us feel right at home. We had a great time. It was fun to experience something like that. Wow.

The Long Awaited Photos...

I know a lot of you have been asking about photos of our "upscale" extended stay, so I am finally going to humor you!

I wanted to show you the class and style in which this place was decorated with. Please take note of the scenery in these wall paintings. I give you the living room's posh decor:
The master bedroom's posh decor: (Can you even call it a master bedroom?)

And the other bedroom's posh decor:
Maybe they really wanted to bring the rooms all together...But come on, do you really need the same photo in every stinking room? And what's up with the 2 side by side?

Here is the deluxe walk in closet...turned into a bedroom for the girls. Hey, we DID leave the door open for ventilation so don't go calling the DCFS on us now! The girls actually loved their place and were always wanting to play in there. I love it when they think things like that are the coolest. Good thing too, cause sometimes parents need them to think that!

Ahhh. And for the cat ladies items. You think she may have too much? Cause I sure do. You don't get to see all the many "items" I got the opportunity to see on a daily basis, but I think you get the idea!

Here is the spacious living room AND kitchen AND dining room. At least when you need someone you don't have to go anywhere...they're just right there!

Now talk about getting more bang for your buck. How many of you get all these colors in YOUR carpet?
I couldn't find the sweet photos of the 8 white trash holes punched in the doors. So sorry. I know you must be devastated.

So I know I laid on the sarcasm pretty thick in this post. We really DID have fun while we were in Dallas, we just had to step out of our place to have it! ;)

After getting home from Utah it had been 6 weeks since we had been home. Talk about a layer of cobwebs and dust. After spending hours cleaning our place I can say it is sparkling and clean and BOY IS IT SPACIOUS!

A Vacation?

Going to Utah was a blast. It was so fun to see family and hang out together. I only wish I took more pictures. Between my batteries dying and forgetting my camera on my girls weekend in Vegas, we don't have very many. :(
As an added bonus to seeing family we actually had a vacation. We got to spend the whole time with Zeb and he wasn't working. He got to do things like golf and wakeboard and RELAX! We had such a good time! Zeb was his fun goofy self. It was so much fun.
The girls loved spending time with Gram and loved her newest additions (parakeets Quigley and Edward..yes, after twilight). Claire and Hallie even got to feed them out of their hands. It was awesome.
Audrey calls any Grandparent Papa. She was always calling Granny and Gram Papa. Whenever one of them would walk in the room she would perk up and say, "Hi Papa!" She is so sweet.

We went swimming...a lot! I bet the girls swam 5-6 times when we were in Utah. They LOVED it, especially the water park in Provo. BTW, I saw ring worm again there. What is the deal?

One night I thought it would be fun to set up a tent (or zeb set it up for that matter) and let the kids sleep out. They were SO excited when we told them. I slept out with them and they loved it. They actually went to sleep pretty quickly after some of mine and Angie's childhood stories. I hardly slept a wink however because I could hear the tent blowing in the wind all night long. Man was that a LONG night...but worth it!

When I went to Vegas over the 4th Zeb took the girls shopping and they even met up with Ned and Leslie at the BYU creamery. Zeb bought the girls new glasses (which Audrey broke immediately on the car ride home), pajamas, and water shoes. Vegas was a blast and I am so glad I got to go. Thanks Zeb! :)

In Vegas Steph bought some surprises for the girls at the dollar spot. She got Audrey the crown and necklace and tutus and slippers for Claire and Hallie. They LOVED them. You spoil them, Steph! Don't mind the wad of tootsie roll in Audrey's cheek here!

After parks, shopping, swimming, Cafe Rio, wakeboarding, golfing, Vegas, makeovers, chic flics, date nights and wonderful company we had a great vacation!
