Saturday morning at 5:00 there was a HUGE thunderstorm and it rained for about 7 hours off and on. We spent the morning inside playing...
watching movies....
and going 4-wheeling. Zeb, Jaren, and Emily took the kids while I stayed at the cabin with the sleeping babies. It rained on them and they came home soaked. 
Zeb said the girls loved it and just giggled and giggled when they went over bumps.
Saturday afternoon it finally cleared up and we headed to the lake. Unfortunately we got a flat tire on the way. Zeb has some mad mechanical skills so he didn't bat and eye. He had it fixed in no time. 
We had a great time swimming and playing.
Then Claire wanted to try skiing. She gave it a go a couple times. She's a trooper.
Of course Hallie wanted to try too. They are two peas in a pod.
I love this of Emily and Caleb. She said she looks horrible in it but I think she looks beautiful. I loved it so much I posted it. I hope she doesn't hate me for it! ;)
The girls are so sweet. I love how close they are. I can just see them when they are older. I know there will be some pretty big fights but seeing how close my sisters and I are makes me so happy they will have it too. I love my sisters...Thanks for a great weekend Taylor fam! We had a blast!
P.S. Claire is ecstatic to report that her two top front teeth are loose. She has kindly asked me for an apple every day to help them get out.
P.P.S. Audrey tries to say, "Oh Boy!" But gets a little mixed up and says, "Oh my boys!"
P.P.P.S. There was a thunderstorm the other night and even though it was 6 am it was still dark outside. The storm woke the girls up and they came in to see Zeb and me. Zeb was getting ready for work and Hallie looks at him and said, "Why are you wearing those pants?" Zeb said, "Because they are my work pants." She then said, "Why are you wearing that shirt?" Again he said, "Because it's my work shirt." So she had to ask, "Why are you wearing your work clothes" To that he replied, "I'm going to work." In a shocked voice Hallie said, "In the middle of the night!!!"
P.P.P.P.S. Julia is giggling like crazy. She now likes the car and doesn't scream while she's in it. I am happiest to report that she doesn't sleep in her swing anymore!!! She goes right to sleep in her crib....once her two fingers are in her mouth. ;) So if you invested in Duracel stock because of the number of batteries we were buying you'd better sell sell sell!
I LOVE being a mom. I love that we got to spend the weekend together as a family. I love my girls. I love my life!

LOVE the "work" story! Cute kids! I can't believe how big Emily's oldest is! Last time I saw him he was still a baby. Time flies! Glad you had fun family time!
Looks like a great weekend (and Emily does look fabulous in that photo). I miss thunderstorms.
My sister (well, her husband) rigged her swing so they could plug it in to an outlet.

The weekend sounded like a total blast! I love the "oh my boys" saying! I want to come and see you soon so I can hear in myself. I'm thrilled you are feeling happy and loving life. That's what I want for my dear Leah :)

oh wow julia is so big i miss her so much. :) I'm glad claires teeth are coming loose:) tell all the girls hi for me, and tell them that i miss them. Can't wait for you and julia to come to utah. see you in a few weeks. :)
